The cottage was incredibly difficult to find. We found Rose Lane, but the cottage had no number or name. If the description had said no4 or Jasmine Cottage we would have found it. The photo showed the rear of the property, looking down on it. Not a view from the Lane. None of the neighbors recognized the photo. If it wasn't for a kind lady knowing that it was the only holiday rental on the lane, we would never have found it, despite knocking on several doors on Rose Lane! The property's elevated garden offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area, like a picture-perfect postcard come to life. Sitting in the garden, sipping a cup of tea, felt like being in a secret garden on top of the world. It was a peaceful oasis to retreat to after a long day of exploring.

Lack of signage on the cottage made it difficult to locate.

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decor of the hotel. It made me feel right at home, with its soft colors and comfortable furnishings. The general areas of the hotel were also very well-kept and clean, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior. I appreciated the thoughtful details like handrails in the hallways and easy-to-use elevator.

I would have loved to see more activities and amenities specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps a designated area for relaxation or organized outings that cater to our needs.

Its location was perfect, being close to the town centre yet in a quiet area. the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we enjoyed cooking a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. Each bedroom had a big flat screen TV and there were even games and video games available.

Parking was easy, thanks to the detailed instructions provided beforehand. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

What a treat to have free WiFi and a garden! The house has been refurbished to such a high standard that it feels like a 19th-century time machine. I also appreciated the safety features, just in case the time machine malfunctioned.

I was heartbroken to discover that the stairs lacked a banister, surely the latest trend in death trap chic. Such a shame, as it really added an element of danger to my stay.
